Fluent ("the Platform"), operated by CorgiMind ("we", "us", "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and (if using OAuth) your profile picture from the authentication provider. If you register with email and password, we store a securely hashed version of your password.

Learning Data

We track your lesson progress, quiz attempts, streaks, and badges to provide a personalized learning experience and display your achievements.

Preferences

We store your language preference, theme selection, and learning persona to customize your experience.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address for the purpose of sending platform updates.

Payment Data

If you subscribe to Fluent Pro, payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card details. We receive subscription status, plan type, and billing dates from Lemon Squeezy.

• Authentication providers (GitHub, Google) — only during the login flow
• Lemon Squeezy — for payment processing (Pro subscribers)
• Neon — our database provider, which stores data securely
• Vercel — our hosting provider

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon with encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens) and preferences (locale, theme). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
